Pre-Primary

 

 A) Play Group 

Age Group : 2 – 3 YEARS

Key Features of Curriculum :
This section involves lot of play and fun. It is meant train the students to adept school environment. Children are trained to be away from home and be ready for school life.

 



B) Mini KG

Age Group : 3 - 4 YEARS

Key Features of Curriculum :
This is the foundation stage of the preschool. Nursery Curriculum provides the firm foundation of learning goals to be achieved in the Kindergarten Stage. Mainly children are engaged in the Motor skills and Observation Skills. Our curriculum and prescribed Books are vigorously evaluated and checked on the basis of need of the stage. Recognition of Alphabets and numbers is the key element of this stage

 



B) Lower KG (LKG)
Age Group : 4 - 5 YEARS

Key Features of Curriculum :
This is the successive stage of the Nursery. On the basis of foundation elements of Nursery Curriculum provides the firm foundation of learning goals of Junior KG. Till this stage kids develop their Motor skills and develop the cognitive skills well to understand the academics. First Term of this stage includes the alphabet writing and recognition and the Second Term involves the understanding of phonics as well as the reading of two letter words. Numerical ability is also provided optimum attention. A balanced approach of enriching cultural and holistic development is the key feature of Junior KG Curriculum.

 



C) Upper KG (UKG)

Age Group : 5 to 6 YEARS

Key Features of Curriculum:
This is the final stage of the Pre-school education. This is the crucial time where child should be able to develop all the cognitive skills like Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing. We prescribed a systematic and well evaluated curriculum to meet the need of academic advancement in the Class I. We know that this class is the bridging class to the Primary Years of education. Reading/ Writing of Two and Three Letter words and improved Numerical ability is the key feature of this stage. Other activities are conducted in the areas of language, numbers, general knowledge, music, as well as art, in a planned manner throughout the program.


Primary and Upper Primary
Classes : I to VIII
Key Features of Curriculum :

A) Primary ( I to IV)
This section of the school is vital and important because the academic development of the students depends upon this stage. Overall development of the students is the approach of DCT schools. Emotional and Physical Development is the key aspect of this stage. The day of the students is planned in such a way that students get sufficient time for academics and the optimum space for physical and cultural development . CCE evaluated the child on all the aspects of life where he/ she is observed daily basis and noted in the dairy. Parallel CBSE books are prescribed for English / Maths for the better academic results. 

B) Upper Primary ( V to VIII)

The classes in this section are important from the point of view of Character development . The curriculum and the activity plan is designed in such a way that all the students get equal opportunity of development. Languages are dealt with utmost care and emphasis is given on the structural development.

 

 

Secondary
Classes : IX and X
Key Features of Curriculum: This section involves the students of the age group in adolescent. Curriculum in this stage is oriented to use the strength and energy of this age. More scope for Literary and Physical activities is the need of this stage. These years are crucial in the life of students . Their performance is evaluated from time to time so as to keep track of their academic development.
